Member & Participant Benefits
Members are defined as Clubs and Associations or Adult Leagues that have been accepted for membership in the Society by the Board of Directors in accordance with Softball BC Bylaws.
Individual Participants are those persons who are generally considered affiliated with Softball BC by belonging to a Club or Association, or to an Adult League, and participating in softball governed by Softball BC. Individual Participants include:

- Umpires
- Coaches
- Managers
- Directors of recognized associations
Member Benefits
- Access to coach and umpire certification clinics and technical support
- Access to Softball BC Registered Umpires
- Access to player development programming, and, where applicable, funding
- Authority to host/participate in sanctioned tournaments
- Participate in district playdowns and have the opportunity to qualify for the provincial championship, and, at some levels, if successful, participate in the Western Canadian or Canadian Championships.
- Financial Support for attending the Western Canadian or Canadian Championships
- Access to training on the RAMP registration system and one-on-one support from Ramp and/or Softball BC staff
- Opportunities for players and coaches to be identified for high-performance programs, including BC Summer Games and Canada Summer Games.
- Vote in selecting District representation on Councils and at the General Meeting of the members
- Access to apply for Umpire Scholarships (Registered Umpires Only)
- Access to Minor Development Fund (for youth-designated programs)
- Access to viaSport grants
- Insurance Coverage: General Liability and Participant Accident Insurance (via SBC Insurance) for registered players, coaches, umpires and club executives
- Access to the annual recognition program
- Receive Softball BC Communications
- Participant membership with Softball Canada
Individual Participants
