BC Summer Games


About The Games

Kelowna will welcome B.C.'s top young athletes for the BC Summer Games, July 22-26, 2026.

This will mark the fourth time Kelowna has hosted the event since the BC Games began in 1978. The community previously hosted the 1980, 1994, and 2008 BC Summer Games as well as the 2000 BC Seniors Games.

Softball (girls) is one of many sports featured at the 2026 Games including 3x3 Basketball, Artistic Swimming, Athletics, Baseball, Basketball, Beach Volleyball, Box Lacrosse, Canoe/Kayak, Equestrian, Field Lacrosse, Golf, Rowing, Rugby-Girls, Sailing, Soccer, Softball, Swimming, Towed Water Sports, Triathlon, Ultimate, Volleyball, and Wrestling.

 

Zones at the Games

To ensure that the BC Summer Games include participants from every part of the Province, as well as to support each Provincial Sport Organization's efforts to spread their activities and interest throughout the Province, the Province has been divided into eight Zones for participation in the Games.
