Incorporated on April 26, 1950, the British Columbia Amateur Softball Association, also known as Softball BC, is the recognized sport governing body for fastpitch (including orthodox) and slo-pitch softball within the Province of British Columbia and is a member of Softball Canada, the National Sport Governing Body for softball.
Softball BC is a non-government, non-profit organization, financed through contributions from viaSport, private-sector sponsorship, and membership fees. Supported by paid staff, the Association is administered by men and women who volunteer their time and skills to advance the sport in BC.
