Congratulations to Derek Hipwell - 2025 Softball BC Minor Service Award Recipient

We are proud to congratulate Derek Hipwell on receiving the 2025 Softball BC Minor Service Award in recognition of his outstanding dedication and continued support of minor softball in our community.

Derek consistently gives his time and energy to help grow the league and create meaningful opportunities for young athletes. Through his winter ball clinics and ongoing involvement with players, he helps keep kids engaged, active, and excited about the sport year-round.

More importantly, Derek’s positive attitude and commitment to creating a fun, supportive environment have made a lasting impact on many young players. His approach not only helps athletes develop their skills on the field, but also encourages confidence, teamwork, and a genuine love for the game.

Derek’s passion for softball and dedication to youth development embody the spirit of this award, and we are incredibly grateful for everything he continues to do for our softball community.
